Facts Matter - A podcast by The Epoch Times

There is a new and rather serious warning about the spices that are in your food and pantry. According to an analysis conducted by Consumer Reports, many of the spices that are very likely to be in your cupboard right now contain high levels of dangerous heavy metals. This report investigated many different types of spices including cumin, chili powder, oregano, basil, ginger, paprika, turmeric, black pepper, and so on. Moreover, the report revealed that a third of the brands that are currently on supermarket store shelves contained either concerning or even dangerous levels of heavy metals. It didn’t really matter what the brand was and whether or not it was organic because according to the analysis, there was no single brand that stood out as being completely safe. Some of the spices seemed to fare much worse than others. For instance, in 31 of the spices that were tested, the levels of lead “were so high that they exceeded the maximum amount anyone should have in a day.” And for some of the categories of spices, there were no completely safe brands at all. ⭕️ Sign up for our NEWSLETTER and stay in touch 👉 https://ept.ms/3wWdBwe ⭕️ Support our fight for the truth
