14. 7 Lessons I Learned from Jury Duty That You Can Apply to Your Food Freedom Journey
Faith-Filled Food Freedom | Disordered Eating, Body Image, Weight Loss Obsession, Anxiety, Nutrition - A podcast by Brittany Braswell - Non-Diet Registered Dietitian for Christian Women - Tuesdays

After spending 7 days in our county courthouse, I realized that a lot of the lessons I learned during my time as a juror apply to the journey you may be taking right now to gain a sense of food freedom – And I’m gonna share 7 of those lessons with you today. Most people make the mistake of not learning from others’ experiences and spending way too much time stuck in cycles that could have been avoided. That’s one of the reasons I value mentorship so much and why I’ve invested both my time and finances on many occasions to make sure I have the opportunity to learn a lot of lessons in a faster and more efficient way. That’s why I hope you’ll find today’s episode valuable and walk away afterwards with at least 1 lesson you’ll choose to intentionally apply to your life this week. A few things you’ll hear in this episode include: The story of a group of people in the Bible who chose to learn their lesson the hard way What “quasi-recovery” has to do with Egypt Why I had to keep secrets from my husband How I started letting go of my GPS on a crazy, traffic-ridden interstate The thing that left me with super low levels of energy, despite my giant coffees 😴 Resource mentioned: Get your free episode implementation tool Become a VIP Podcast Insider HERE to access BONUS resources only available to our VIP list.
