As I write this, President Trump and his family have just departed the White House, heading home to Florida to soon be ordinary citizens once again. Our hearts are heavy with grief, as we know that not only has this election been rife with fraud and stolen from us and President Trump, but also because we know what a wave of overwhelming wickedness is upon our land. The most important thing for us to remember at times like these is that the Lord is not ignoring our prayers, and that he is still very much in charge. If we remember these things, there are logical lines that we can draw to point us to where we know things are headed. First, the Lord is on his throne in heaven, and he hears the prayers of the saints - always. The Bible talks about the prayers of the saints being stored up in the Lord’s presence, like the sweet aroma of incense in his holy temple. What we say to him and cry out to him is heard and stored up for eternity. He does not ignore us. He hears us and hears our pleas for help. See Revelation 8:4,5 for more on this. We know, too, that the scriptures tell us before the Lord returns that things here would progressively get worse. It it not an exaggeration to say that the worse things get, the closer to the Lord’s return we know we are. And, less we kid ourselves, what is coming our way over the next years is going to be bad. We must face that reality and prepare ourselves spiritually for it. (2 Timothy 3:12,13. - Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.) But, what else did he promise us before he left? He promised that he would come again, and that he would punish all of the evildoers. All of them. His eyes are everywhere. He is not aloof or shocked by our world events. He has allowed them, because his ways are perfect. Our Hope is in the Lord! Let us hold each other up in prayer every single day as we patiently await his return. In the meantime, he has given us much work to do! ************************ MENTIONS ON THE SHOW ************************ Text 'WEAREFEARLESS' to 22828 to join our newsletter and stay up to date on all that's happening with at Fearless Features!
