The Great Escape / Glenmorangie Lasanta

Film And Whiskey - A podcast by Bob Book and Brad Gee - Tuesdays

Categories:

Brad and Bob take a look at a movie that your dad has probably fallen asleep watching on AMC, The Great Escape. The consensus is that it still holds up, the script is amazing, and the direction is underrated. It’s tense, claustrophobic, and fun. Also, Brad somehow didn’t know Richard Attenborough was in Jurassic Park.

Then, they try the second bottle in their Glenmorangie sampler, the sherry-finished Glenmorangie Lasanta. You’re going to want to hear their scores on this one.
PSA: we have a NEW SCORING SYSTEM for our whiskeys! We’ve added a fifth category, “value,” and it rounds out our potential points to a nice 50.

After the whiskey review, Bob decides that if Hollywood is going to remake everything, he might as well jump the gun and recast the movie himself. Also, Brad somehow confuses Adam Driver and Adam Scott.
