Anna Bressanin is an award-winning filmmaker and an expert in digital storytelling. From the first BBC VR film in India to covering the US election for a mobile audience, she is responsible for pushing the boundaries of visual narratives and finding new exciting ways of telling immersive and powerfully human stories.

Anna is currently working as the Multimedia Editor for BBC Features in the US, where she is in charge of defining the video strategy and commissioning innovative multimedia projects, short documentaries, interactive pieces and video series.

Before that, she has worked six years as a filmmaker and video journalist for BBC News in the US, covering major events such as the Black Lives Matter movement, the US election and Fidel Castro’s death.

Her first documentary “9 Months in the Bronx” won the Jury Award at the Black Maria Film Festival and was screened at festivals around the world.

Born in Italy, Anna has worked and lived in Germany, France, Belgium and is now based in New York
