In this episode of the FLiP podcast we discuss children’s screen time, from the impact it has on their behaviour, the facts surrounding screen time and how best to manage different attitudes between parents to children’s screen time. FLiP’s in house Counsellor & Family Consultant Jo Harrison leads the discussion with guest speaker, Dr Aric Sigman. Dr Aric Sigman is a chartered biologist and chartered psychologist. He is an American health education/PSHE lecturer to pupils at schools and to parents and staff. He publishes medical papers on health and development subjects and addresses a range of PSHE subjects including screen time and dependence, alcohol, ‘soft’ drugs & vaping, preventing mental health problems in children, body image, and understanding boys, sex and relationships.   FLiP’s in-house Counsellor & Family Consultant Jo Harrison has a depth and breadth of expertise in working with clients who are separating or divorcing. She is sensitive to the impact of relationship breakdown and how it can affect individuals and families.
