Today we will be answering another question from one of our listeners. Jen wants to know how to decide which conferences she should attend and if I have any tips for making the most out of a conference.

Some highlights include:

It’s about the content. At minute 1:00, I talk about how to decide if the content a conference provides is something that you need right now or if it’s something that can wait.

You will also need to take into consideration the host and the speakers of the conference. At minute 2:00, I talk about how to choose conferences based on who will be there.

The other guests at the conference are also important to consider. You may have to work alongside these people, so you’re going to want people that will push and challenge you. (minute 3:00)

You need to go to at least one event a year. At minute 5:00, I talk about why that is the bare minimum and how many a year you should really strive for.

Once you have your event picked out, you’ll want to make the most of it. At minute 7:00, I give you four tips for getting everything out of it that you can.
