58 In Christ We Can Live for Ever – Memento Mori

For College Catholics - A podcast by Fr. Patrick Wainwright, MC

In today’s episode I talk about the finitude of our temporal life, and the eternity of life in Heaven. “Memento mori” is a phrase that has been around in Christian culture since the beginnings. It comes from Sirach 7:36: “In all you do, remember the end of your life, and then you will never sin.” The death and resurrection of Christ has given the reality of our death a whole new and positive meaning. I also share a moving experience that happened to me recently.
