Nottingham City Council yesterday announced a deal with Nottingham Forest was all but agreed to sell the City Ground freehold to the club and allow them to redevelop the world famous stadium. However, later in the day, Forest issued a statement of their own saying no deal was not yet done and 'relevant permissions' were needed before a sale could be confirmed. We discuss the developments and whether the deal will collapse or if this is a small bump in the road before a successful conclusion.
