Geektown Radio 332: ‘Vikings: Valhalla’, ‘Evil Genius 2’ Reviews, Plus TV News & UK Air Dates!

The Geektown Radio podcast returns for another weekly show, and this week sees the return of Twitch Streamer, YouTuber, and general muppet Bex from TristaBytes, to chat through the last week on UK TV, film and gaming, along with the usual news and UK TV air dates! We begin with a roundup of the shows, games and films we have been watching and playing over the past few weeks. Along with her regular death and destruction in "Tomb Failer", Bex talks us through her time on the wonderfully fun 'Evil Genius 2', along with explaining the creation of her own real-life(ish...) Evil Genius. She also has finally got round to watching 'Black Widow', so gives us her thoughts on that film, and chats about the charity streams she has been doing to raise money for the amazing gaming charity SpecialEffect. Meanwhile, I dive back into the world of Norsemen, with the new Netflix drama 'Vikings: Valhalla', and give my thoughts on the series so far. We also chat through the finale of 'Trigger Point' (no spoilers), and the return of 'Peaky Blinders'.Over in the TV news, we run through the renewals, along with some cancellations and pickups. As Bex is on the show, we, of course, end up on a tangent and talk about possible new Doctors for 'Doctor Who', and also chat about games we'd like to see made into tv shows. We discuss 'Indiana Jones 5' wrapping filming, casting for Marvel's ‘Ironheart’ series, a possible 'Outlander' prequel, and lots more!Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/geektown.
