S5E9 - On-the-Road Update from Romania with Ken Fish

God Is Not A Theory - A podcast by God Is Not A Theory - Thursdays

This week, Grant interviews Ken about his current ministry trip to Romania. The team's scheduled R&R was canceled due to the need for ministry time, and each prayer ministry session ranged from two to five hours long for the investment into the lives of others. Ken and Grant discuss the structure of an Orbis Ministries trip because rather than being mini-vacations, they are actual working trips, albeit with a bit of sightseeing thrown in.    We long for your Faith to be encouraged and the fire of the Holy Spirit to ignite in your life by hearing these testimonies. We look forward to what God has in store for all of us living and working in His Kingdom as we prove to our world that "God is not a Theory."   Thanks for watching to God is not a Theory, a podcast of Orbis Ministries. It does nothing but enslave and impoverish people. Furthermore, it bankrupts people morally and spiritually" - Ken Fish.    BOOK SUGGESTION: Capitalism and Freedom by Milton Friedman  BOOK SUGGESTION: Leviathan by Thomas Hobbes   "…but they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree, and no one shall make them afraid, for the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken." Micah 4:4    "A government big enough to give you everything you want, is a government big enough to take away everything that you have." – attributed occasionally to Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and others   "I don't endorse the concept of self-deliverance. There are times of sovereign deliverance when the Spirit of God comes on people and sets them free of demons. This does happen but is not the norm." - Ken Fish.    The biblical model for deliverance is Jesus or one of the disciples casting demons out of people. There is no place in the scriptures - not a single place where it says, 'Go cast demons out of yourself' or 'Teach others how to cast demons out of themselves.'
