Major Google Drive Issue, Google Investigating. How to Know If You Are Affected, and What To Do

Google Drive is having a potentially massive issue right now that we have to talk about. There are articles from several major publications talking about this and the situation is still being investigated. Many users are complaining that their Google Drives have reverted back to May and are showing no activity since then. There was a long Google Drive forum support thread that has since been locked and removed and a new document with just the support comment.
