Welcome Graham fam! We are so glad you could watch Sunday morning online with us. Sermon: The Life of Joseph – All is Revealed Introduction: * Recap of Joseph’s journey from attempted murder, betrayal, slavery, imprisonment, and being forgotten. * Joseph is now 39 years old, with 22 years of suffering behind him. * Today’s focus: All is revealed. Scripture: * Genesis 42:1-12 (Joseph’s Brothers Go to Egypt) * Genesis 42:17-24 (Joseph toys with his brothers) * Genesis 42:37-38 (Reuben takes responsibility for Benjamin) * Genesis 44:33-34 (Judah offers himself instead of Benjamin) * Genesis 45:1-5 (Joseph reveals his identity) * Genesis 50:19-21 (Jacob passes and the brothers are afraid) Points: * Joseph’s dreams come true: * God’s plans cannot be thwarted. * Joseph’s brothers’ evil intentions couldn’t change God’s plans. * Romans 11:33-36: God’s wisdom and knowledge are beyond our understanding. * Joseph is still showing himself different: * Joseph had the opportunity for revenge but chose to play mind games instead. * Romans 12:19: Leave revenge to God. * Joseph consistently did the right thing, setting an example for us. * True characters are revealed: * God reveals the true nature of people in due time. * Luke 8:17: Everything concealed will be brought to light. * Reuben, Judah, and Simeon each show their true character through their actions. * Joseph sees everything clearly: * Time allows for clarity and understanding. * 1 Corinthians 13:12: We see things imperfectly now but will see clearly later. * Joseph’s journey shows how God uses trials to shape and prepare us. Closing: * Never give up; keep fighting the good fight. * God reveals everything; He has no reason to hide anything. * Difficult trials are part of God’s plan, and we will see them clearly if we remain faithful.
