In the last 10 to 20 years, we’ve moved from preserving the environment from people to preserving it for people. Ecology Center in Berkeley, California, runs three farmers markets, an ecology center and a curbside recycling pickup service to minimize the plastic impact on the environment. We must remind ourselves that individual changes add up - if we all decide to change, we show others that it is possible and then it will become normal.
