Did you know that, according to the National Ocean Service, at least 50% of the Earth’s oxygen comes from the ocean? If humanity keeps on with business as usual, the ocean is expected to lose 3-4% of its oxygen by 2100. So far, oceans have already lost 2% since the 1950s, due to higher water temperatures and excessive growth of algae.
