TV Writer & Creator Roshan Sethi MD

Writer, director, doctor and co-creator of the TV series The Resident - Roshan Sethi MD - joins the show! Dr. Sethi was nice enough to answer our many questions about consulting on medical shows like Black Box, being a staff writer on Code Black and what it’s like to have a film in the Sundance Film Festival. He also reveals how The Resident was actually inspired by the movie Training Day and originally intended as a darker series for Showtime. Then, he tells us the books he read growing up that inspired him to write and how he balances being a practicing doctor with his TV and film career.
