Wait, is the US going to invade Gaza?

Trump has a new goal: turning Gaza into the "Riviera of the Middle East".  At a press conference alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump said that the US will "take over the Gaza Strip", while suggesting Palestinians in Gaza could be permanently relocated to neighbouring countries like Egypt or Jordan.  The comments were backed up by Netanyahu, as protesters gathered outside the White House chanted that "Palestine is not for sale" and “Gaza is not for sale”.  So, could the US actually take control of Gaza?
