For the majority of his career, Markevis was a “professional hustler” who started making $200 a week when he was 8 years old. Today, Markevis is a successful business owner and entrepreneur of Nerdit Now buying, selling and repairing computers, cell phones and tablets, all while giving back to his community. In this episode, Markevis explains how he takes one of the worst days of his life, makes an impulsive decision to move to China, and within 4 months of having his first alcoholic drink he opened his first bar - YES in China! Markevis also discusses how he had the opportunity to pitch an idea on Shark Tank and how he built his prototype kiosk in just 2 weeks before the show. All of this started for Markevis when his teacher gave him a computer.
