35. Alysa Gumto on Interning, Choosing a Career in Social Media Management, and Starting a Podcast

From intern to full-time employee, Alysa Gumto was been in her social media management role for quite some time. Alysa shares with us her journey of becoming a social media manager, from being undecided in college, to landing an internship. She now has her very own podcast, Telling It Like It Is with Alysa, and she shines a light on growing that platform as well as a social media platform. Meet Alysa Gumto Alysa Gumto is a Social Media Manager with 4 1/2 years of experience and has been with the same company since January 2019. Alysa has always enjoyed being creative. As a child, she would attend weekly craft classes at Michaels Art Supplies store, scrapbook before Instagram took off, and her love for social media started back in middle school when you could find her creeping on people's Facebook pages. As a 2019 graduate with honors from La Roche University, Alysa double majored in Marketing and Management. One of her favorite aspects of her job is getting to work 1:1 with clients, making them feel comfortable, and providing them with up-to-date social media tips to help grow their online presence as a network marketer.
