Can't believe this is the third of our first release chats! In case you didn't hear with our first two guests, just a quick note before we jump into this one. I mentioned the perfectly imperfect beginnings of this podcast (and all great projects), so please do bear with us through these first few episodes which were, thanks to COVID19, recorded on Zoom before I was able to go anywhere to buy a microphone! The audio is a little scratchy, but will get better and better - spoiler alert, I get a microphone in a few episodes' time! Back to our guest, Nat Bassingthwaighte is one of Australia's most versatile entertainers, achieving success as an actress, musician, presenter and author. She's also a brilliant entrepreneur, seeker and adventurer and all round amazing human. I'm also proud to say she is one of my dearest friends. Nat was most recently seen on stage starring as Roxie Hart in the hugely successful production of CHICAGO. Her acting credits include THE WRONG GIRL, NEIGHBOURS, BROCK, UNDERBELLY: THE GOLDEN MILE, THE MYSTERY OF NATALIE WOOD, CONTERSTRIKE and THE LOST WORLD. Nat's work as a presenter include CHANGING ROOMS, THE X FACTOR AUSTRALIA, THE X FACTOR NEW ZEALAND. She's also starred on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE and I'M A CELEBRITY: GET ME OUT OF HERE. She has also enjoyed international success as the front woman of Rogue Traders. And let me tell you, she is one of the most fun people to have at a party. She's a Mum of two and the founder of globally loved kids brand Chi Khi. Trust me when I say there is nothing this passionate bubbly go getter can't do. In this episode of Hear me RAW we delve deep into: · Finding serenity in the new normal · Surrendering rather than controlling and letting go of ego · Why bigger isn't better · Moving to Byron · Traversing industries · Being a seeker, adventurer, explorer · Letting go of things that aren't serving us Who knows what the future holds but let me tell you, I get the feeling Nat Bass has many more pivots and exciting iterations to come.
