I'm bringing you some Beatles on this Monday morning! ~ No, not the kind my 6 year old finds crawling in the backyard, the actual BEATLES! Okay, let me explain! We like to dance party in our house! & this morning while we were making breakfast & singing our hearts out the song, "Let It Be", by the Beatles came on. It goes something like this... "And when the night is cloudy, there is still a light that shines on me, shine until tomorrow, let it be." When I sang those words I realized that I MUST do a podcast episode on the power of "letting be". ~ In Episode 143, I share with you my 5 question framework to ground yourself as you heal from restriction & control. You see, letting go is inspiration & means pure & total release. But that can feel heavy when you are navigating freedom from disordered eating. Reality is, if you knew how to let go, you probably would have by now...am I right? In my own recovery, I would surrender control only to pick it up again the next day. That is when I realized that the stepping stone to letting go is actually allowing yourself to "let be". ~ I hope today's message inspires you & gives you so much hope as you start off a brand new week.
