History of the Bay - A podcast by Dregs One - Tuesdays

Raised in Philadelphia, ENEM is a graffiti legend who has made a name for himself for his tagging skills, prolific work, and love of the culture. Navigating the tough streets of Philly, he got in trouble as a juvenile which led to him moving to Oakland as a teenager. There he met Mike Dream (RIP) and joined the infamous TDK crew. Going back and forth between the Bay and Philly, Enem developed his style while continuing to navigate the ups and downs of street life. Eventually he left the streets alone and dedicated himself to graffiti and hip-hop, putting out music and art projects. In 2005, Enem was featured graffiti documentary "Infamy" which highlighted his story for a worldwide audience. For promo opportunities on the podcast, e-mail [email protected] of the Bay Spotify Playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3ZUM4rCv6xfNbvB4r8TVWU?si=9218659b5f4b43aaOnline Store: https://dregsone.myshopify.com Follow Dregs One:Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/1UNuCcJlRb8ImMc5haZHXF?si=poJT0BYUS-qCfpEzAX7mlAInstagram: https://instagram.com/dregs_oneTikTok: https://tiktok.com/@dregs_oneTwitter: https://twitter.com/dregs_oneFacebook: https://facebook.com/dregsone41500:00 New era of graffiti 07:03 Philly graff history 14:15 Philly handstyles 21:29 Growing up in Philly28:07 Hip-hop 41:12 Developing as a writer 47:27 Dream, TDK, Oakland 1:01:55 Leaving a legacy as a writer1:07:46 Going on the run1:17:11 Philadelphia Anti-Graffiti1:22:39 “Infamy” documentary 1:32:58 Today’s graff culture
