Hope to Recharge - A podcast by Matana Poupko Jacobs

Thursdays are special days. I use it to prepare for Shabbat which I love celebrating and getting to spend time with my family. I also get to connect with you and share with you things that I am learning and contemplating about gratitude. I was recently talking to someone who was going through a really difficult time with their partner who is struggling with mental health. One of the things that I wish I would have understood when I was going through my own mental health journey was the importance of being grateful for the loved ones in my life who were supporting me. Living with someone who is going through mental health challenges can be really difficult at times. When you see someone who you care about suffering it can feel helpless. Although our friends and family may not understand what we are going through exactly we can gift them with the “fuel” of gratitude. Sometimes you don't have the strength to give gratitude and that’s okay. In this episode, we cover not only the importance of showing gratitude towards our support system but also how we can practically. We would LOVE to hear from you! Who are you grateful for? What are ways that you like to show appreciation?
