Experiencing Gratitude After Challenges (Attitude of Gratitude)
Hope to Recharge - A podcast by Matana Poupko Jacobs
Categories:
Last week was an incredibly difficult week. My youngest child was very sick and there were several things going on in my personal life that made the week very challenging. Several times it felt as though I was at a breaking point, so I used gratitude to recharge and help ease me through anxiety and sleep deprivation. But that's not what this episode is about… I wanted to share with you an exercise that I did right after the week was over, my son was back at school, and things had calmed down. I carved out time to intentionally sit down and reflect on the week and find sixty things that I was grateful for in the MIDST of the struggle. Going through this exercise was so impactful that someone else even noticed that my energy was higher and that I was in a state of peace. Why should we stop and reflect on hard times and find gratitude afterwards? In this episode of attitude of gratitude, we dig in deep to the benefits of this practice and give tips on how you can implement this into your day. What about you!? We would love to hear your thoughts about this practice or if you have any tips of your own concerning gratitude. We are all learning and growing together!
