His father had been involved in the equestrian scene in Perth and then again in Melbourne. It was here that he became more involved with horses and spent his teenage years learning to show jump and competed in Grand Prix at age 16. After finishing a Law Degree at University, he went ‘on the road’ showjumping for a year and never went back to Law.
