In 1867, a psychiatric hospital was opened in Victoria, Australia, and for the next 126 years it would carry out horrendous medical procedures, without consent, or anesthetic.  13,000 died at Aradale, and today there are countless reports of visitors being bitten and scratched by unseen assailants, and disembodied screams and cries are heard along the empty corridors.
