Ep 16 - Crumlin Road Gaol

How Haunted? Podcast | Horrible Histories, Real Life Ghost Stories, and Paranormal Investigations from Some of the Most Haunted Places on Earth - A podcast by Rob Kirkup - Fridays

The only Victorian era prison still standing in the city of Belfast in Northern Ireland, was once known as Europe’s Alcatraz. Dating from 1845, this was a place of incarceration and execution. It closed in 1996 and ever since visitors have reported all manner of paranormal occurrences such as things moving of their own accord, voices from empty cells, and ghosts have been seen and photographed.  It is considered one of the most haunted placed in this capital city, but is it worthy of such a reputation? Tonight, join me as we dare to enter the empty, silent prison of Crumlin Road Gaol. Huge thanks to Jenny Boanca for telling me all about her visit to the haunted prison in this episode.
