Author Soman Chainani finished the final book in his children’s series The School of Good and Evil in 2020 and was going to take the year off and go on new adventures. Instead, Covid-19 lockdowns kept him inside. So he decided to rewrite classic fairy tales and give them a modern, un-Disney like twist. The result is Beasts and Beauty: Dangerous Tales.
