EP. 80 - DOUG FRIESEN

It's the start of a new season! Season 2 will feature Friendly's Vinyl Pap and other wrong turns, but the main body of the thing will be a deep dive into the impact of music education. Through the lens of Doug Friesen and the great work he's been doing the last fifteen years at Rosedale School of the Arts in Toronto. He's raised a generation of musicians, made a huge impact, like one of his mentors, R. Murray Schafer, Doug has done it off the beaten path. This season, I'll find and speak with many of the students Doug has helped shape as musicians in the City of Toronto and beyond.
