January 26, 1966 was a warm summer day in South Australia. Jim Beaumont returned home from a sales trip he had been on for the last day, expecting to see his wife and children at home. But when he got home, his wife Nancy told him that their kids, 9-year-old Jane, 7-year-old Arnna, and 4-year-old Grant hadn’t yet come home from the beach.
