Avoid connecting with random accounts just for the sake of it. You'll have more followers, but is there any quality in that pool of followers when it comes to your business? Also, liking and commenting on a number of odd things may be beneficial; you'll get noticed, but make sure you're doing it for the proper sort of exposure. Two(2). Don't Create The Same Content-Type. A lot of organizations make this error, continuously recycling the same type of content and losing followers and engagement as a result. Three(3). Becoming Inactive. It is critical to continue publishing on social media. If people notice you haven't updated in months, you risk losing followers and undermining the trust that social media may bring for your company. It also reduces the likelihood of being exposed to new potential followers. Four(4). Replicating the Exact Same Post. Any company that does this is making a huge mistake. If you send a Tweet on LinkedIn with hashtags and emoticons, it won't get as much attention as it would on Twitter. LinkedIn is a social networking site for professionals. Always double-check your tone, because what could seem casual on Twitter should be more official on LinkedIn. Five(5). Not Scheduling Content. Always make sure that your content is scheduled to go out on specified dates for the month ahead. If you do this, you won't have to stress over what to publish when you find out you've fallen behind.
