#iidm #Digital #Marketing Hi, my name is Michaela Kruger from the International Institute of Digital Marketing. As you see by the title of this video, I am going to give you the perfect brief recipe to use that can help you successfully market to Gen Z. This is everyone born from 1995 upwards. Gen Z can be a very tough crowd to market to. With a generation that spends almost all of their time online, we lose interest very quickly. The first ingredient in this digital marketing recipe would be to create content that is relatable to Gen Z. So what exactly does this mean? Therefore, you will need to use: - Memes (photos or videos that are humorous and copied and easily spread by internet users, often with slight variations) - Short TikTok styled videos - Aesthetic videos/content. This includes videos that follow a specific theme, whether this is a bright & clean feel or a dark and moody feel. * DO NOT abuse the use of popular acronyms or slang as this might make you seem like you’re trying too hard to fit in. * Gen Z is the more racially and ethnically diverse group therefore be relatable. * They are often well informed about environmental issues and tend to support brands that care for the environment. * Using relatable people in marketing campaigns works really well! Moving on to some clever marketing tactics you could use. * Gen Zers are interested in brands that create an opportunity to collab as well brands that engage with their customers or potential customers. So, this means that Gen Z should be able to: - Participate in a product review - Creating content for brand competitions - Being able to send in product idea submissions and attending brand events. 70%-74% of Gen Zers have had social media profiles since the age of 12! Therefore, it is a great idea to use Social Media platforms such as Tik Tok & Instagram to gain attention and popularity. * Entertaining content always wins! * Use Influencer marketing smartly! Using micro-influencers with a following between 5000-10 000 yields better results than influencers with hundreds of thousands of followers. I have highlighted quite a few good tactics that are guaranteed to work. So just remember the most important points are to ensure that your digital content is exciting, new, relatable, simple, and entertaining. Use social media and create short videos as this seems to be most successful. Ensure that your brand engages with its customers and cares about environmental and social issues. In the news, there are blunders again and again by companies, failing some of the core aspects of modern marketing. Because of this, the need for a solid, stable foundation for marketing in the modern world is needed-- a foundation with the ability to be built upon and developed with time. #contentmarketing #digitalmarketing #digitalmarketing #marketing #socialmediamarketing #socialmedia #business #marketingdigital #branding #seo #instagram #onlinemarketing #advertising #digital #entrepreneur #contentmarketing #marketingstrategy #digitalmarketingagency #marketingtips #follow #smallbusiness #design #bhfyp #
