Are you just 'doing the work' and expecting the money to show up as an entrepreneur? That's not how it works for us. Because if they are not, you will not make any money. But, for most employees, if your actions are not creating any new revenue, you will probably still get your paycheck. The one and only thing that matters to Entrepreneurs are the outcomes we create. Specifically are your actions creating new leads and new sales in your business? Now I'm 'over-generalizing' here in this video on purpose to make a clear point and I totally get many 'employee' positions are in revenue generating positions... And some are commission only... Like outside sales The goal here is to paint a clear distinction between 80%+ of the jobs For entrepreneurs the shadow work trap is real and it is a major failure point. But they have not taken the years to learn copywriting, to learn about their audience, to test offers and headlines with thousands of paid clicks... so they resort to posting on Facebook and Instagram (shadow work) because it feels like working... For some employees this is enough to earn income, but for entrepreneurs this is not enough. Unless you have clear data that the posts are generating enough income to sustain you, you most focus on other things. Generally it is about creating great content through either YouTube, a Blog or a Podcast... Then, growing your email list and offering even more value. Before offering a course, coaching, affiliate products, etc. And of course, as an entrepreneur, there is no guarantee of success or income after 'doing all the work'! And this is what being an entrepreneur is all about. Taking on that risk in exchange for infinite upside potential. But the upside potential only arrives when we deliver 5x - 10x the value to the lives of our audience FIRST... And the income is the byproduct of that value exchange.
