We started our journey in the Posavje region in the far East of country almost on the Croatian border at Vino Graben. Father and daughter winemaking team Janez and Zala Šekoranja make a huge selection of wines on a little over seven hectares. Working on a human scale their philosophy is to let the wine express the nature of the grapes they grow. To stay true to that philosophy they produce over 100 different wines, some in minute quantities.
