My Girl The River is an americana/alt-country trio based in north Bedfordshire (England) but with its roots, heart and soul in the American south. Songwriter and guitarist Kris Wilkinson Hughes wears her heart on her sleeve as she tells stories of family, love and loss. Husband Joe (double bass) and daughter Ruby (ukulele) help Kris paint the pictures.
