Episode 5 - The Dancer and the Poet

The episode focuses on Chicago teenagers finding creativity and community during the pandemic. Jessica Romero and Jackie Gaytan created the 8Teenth Hip-Hop crew so teens can experience competitive dance without the prohibitive cost. Catherine Herrera, 17, has become somewhat of a local celebrity since winning the state championship for the national recitation competition Poetry Out Loud in March.
