Matt Hampson was in the rare position as a 20 year old where all his dreams were coming true. Growing up in rugby country Matt had been hooked on the game since he was 5 years old and now he was one of the best players in Rngland. But in March 2005 during a training session with the U21 national side that was all about to change.A scrum collapsed sending Matts head crashing to the floor with almost a tonne of weight following in behind him. Matt now lives with one of the highest grades of spinal cord injury you can survive, no movement from below the neck, a permanent tracheostomy and full time care. Despite all of this he has gone on to achieve the most incredible things. Inspiring thousands and helping hundreds more through his charity ‘The Matt Hampson Foundation’.
