Michael Glading: 'Far-fetched' to suggest New Zealand can host the men's FIFA World Cup

Former New Zealand Football CEO Michael Glading joins Martin Devlin on It's Only Sport, reacting to comments made by current NZF boss Andrew Pragnell around potentially hosting the men's FIFA World Cup. Pragnell stated that given the success of the women's World Cup which is ongoing, it is a matter of "when not if" New Zealand secures hosting rights for the men's tournament. Michael is a fan of optimism and ambition in general, but believes it is near impossible for the biggest sporting event on the planet to be staged in New Zealand.
