Day 3 Morning Rant

IVF Before and After Podcast - A podcast by Kay Dempsey

In this episode, Kay gives an honest insight into the challenges she is facing as a Mum at the moment. It’s easy for people to always give the impression that everything is going well but life with little ones is continually changing as they grow. What works one day may not work the next so being a Mum is always a balancing act. Kay shares how you can go from a day of desperation to a brighter one and the importance of accepting help even if it’s not the way you would have done it.   KEY TAKEAWAYS I’m really having a hard time being the Mum of twins We need to talk to each other and get through challenging times together. Often others you are close to don’t think about what they say or consider how it might make you feel. Sometimes basic is best. You can end up spending all of your time cleaning up after little ones who just continually get more things out. Little ones need to learn how to tidy up and why they need to do it for themselves. Sometimes when everything seems too much it’s about stepping out of yourself and asking for help. When help is offered you must learn to accept it even if it means things are not done in quite the same way. Someone else may have a solution that works even if it’s not the same as your solution. A challenging day can easily be followed by a brighter and better day.   BEST MOMENTS ‘I just left the house screaming because I don’t know what else I could have done’ ‘I feel brighter and am looking forward to a better day’ ‘I’m just a normal Mummy’   VALUABLE RESOURCES IVF Before and After Podcast   ABOUT THE HOST IVF Before and After was founded by Kay Dempsey.
