Simhah Tamar is a language teacher is Sderot. She made Aaliyah in 2020 and survived through the October 7th bombing. Simhah’s parents are both Igbo, a African tribe considered to be descendents of shevet Gad. Brought over on slave ships, her family settled in America and adopted Christianity, to which she felt disconnected.
