Rabbi Ariel Sadwin, a Silver Spring native, studied at the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy and the Yeshiva of Greater Washington before attending Ner Yisroel in Baltimore and Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem. He received semicha and a master’s degree from Ner Yisroel’s Kollel Avodas Levi. Since 2007, Rabbi Sadwin has served as Executive Director of Agudath Israel’s Mid-Atlantic government affairs office, representing Jewish communities in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. He is also the president of Maryland CAPE, leading a coalition of nonpublic and independent schools. Rabbi Sadwin lives in Baltimore with his wife Pessi and their seven children.
