Episode 116: Chaya Toron, Water Color Artist & Painter

Jewish Money Matters - A podcast by Yael Trusch

Categories:

B”H You’re listening to Jewish Latin Princess. I’m Yael Trusch, your Host. Welcome to the show! Good to be back here. I’m back in some sort of routine, after my children’s winter break and my parent’s visit etc. I love routine! In fact, I’m trying to meal plan these days. I’ve tried it in the past but never really got into it. I’m determined to give it a shot again, with the encouragement and great tips from many on you on Instagram – Thank You very much – I will continue to meal plan and see how it goes for me. Listen, I’m disciplined about planning my money, so I can get disciplined about planning and producing my meals, right? And on that note, if you haven’t heard my appearance on Kayla Levin’s podcast, First Year Married, I was there a week or so ago speaking about Money Dates – the why, the what and the how. And I think many of you are going to love what I have to say and benefit from it. So head over to First Year Married on your podcast player and you can find me on Episode 55. As a compliment to that interview, I created a checklist, a guide to doing these money dates, for all of Kayla’s listeners but of course, you are welcome to it as well. In this checklist I walk you through 7 dates and the prompts, the things to discuss during those dates, which will get you set up to carry on with your money dates going forward. You can access that at www.jewishlatinpricness.com/moneydate. And let me know how you like it and if you start your money dates, tag me on Instagram; maybe use the #moneydate. I want to see! As always questions welcome. In fact, send those in now cuz the next episode I have up is a juicy Ask Yael with fellow money nerd and creator of Kosher on a Budget, Mara Strom and we will be answering some of your money questions, so thank you for sending those already. But, if you have more, please send my way… AHORA! Now. Ok, speaking of routine, and money, today I have someone with whom I also speak a lot about routine, habits, discipline and well how she took the leap of faith to start making money off of her art. That is, yes to treat it as her full time business and not a side gig. My guest is Chaya Toron and she’s a watercolor artist and painter. Chaya and I talk about the creative process, how it works, the financial considerations behind this leap of faith, and more. It’s so refreshing to me to hear young women taking risks. Listen, I wish I had taken more risks when I was younger. I also think it’s a different world, whereby the internet and social media has brought so many entrepreneurial opportunities and ways to define our own unique path in whatever field we want. So, let’s hear from my guest. Here’s Chaya Toron.    You may also like | Puede que también te gusteLos resultados de la campaña de cumpleaños (¡entre estornudos!)
