B”H Do you have a podcast? Would you want to have one? Today we take an inside look at this industry with one of the pioneers of podcasting, an Expert in Connection and Influence. You’re listening to Jewish Latin Princess. I’m Yael Trusch your host. Welcome to the show. Today’s guest is Jessica Kupferman. And this is such a fun conversation for me. Fine, maybe I’m biased because I love what I do so much and my guest is the expert at it. Anyone who is taking podcasting seriously ultimately ends up knowing or hearing about Jessica Kupferman, especially if they’re a woman. Jessica is an internet and digital marketing pioneer who helps content creators grow and monetize a loyal, rabid fan base through understanding connection and the power of influence. She has worked on branding and messaging for large corporations such as Comcast and Subaru, as well as with hundreds of bloggers, podcasters and online entrepreneurs, by teaching personality-driven social media and sales strategy. How do I know Jessica, or get to Jessica? Well, because she is the co-host and co-founder of the She Podcasts brand, which currently supports over 10,000 female podcasters and has a digital marketing reach of over 50,000 content creators. Oh and Jessica also started a podcast advertising agency, JK Media Agency, in 2015 and then sold in 2017 to pursue her passion for helping independent podcasters create connection and step into their influence. Currently, she is the Head of Marketing for Rebel Base Media where she helps members prepare for success in podcasting. How did Jessica end up in focusing her efforts in this newer media? What are the barriers to entry that women faced when attempting to dive into podcasting? What message do you need to get across to potential sponsors when you’re asking them to partner with your show? It might not be just number of downloads. And how did Jessica get to become an expert in connection? Listen to some insights on how to connect better with others. Where is the line between connecting, being human, relatable, and sharing too much information? Jessica believes that our legacy is not our body of work necessarily. Rather, she says,  our legacy is how we made people feel during our lifetime. Yes, Jessica is a marketer, she’s an expert in connection, but even so, how did Jessica gain this insight? This is not something they teach you in marketing 101 or in corporate America… Jessica is a delight, whether you’re new to podcasting, have your own show, or are just a listener, you’re going to learn a ton from her, here’s the fun Jessica Kupferman.
