How to motivate your employees
Journey to $100 Million - A podcast by Erik J. Olson & Kevin Daisey

Erik recently had a conversation with business coach, Joe White. During the live broadcast Zack Miller asked how you keep employees motivated since statistics show that as much as 70% of employees are not engaged while at work. Joe's answer was that you have to make employees feel valued and heard. One of the most obvious ways to make an employee feel valued is with good pay, but more importantly than that says Joe, is to make them feel empowered. One way to do that is by asking them questions and really listening to what they have to say. Listening is so important to making someone feel valued. Ask them what they think about how things are going. If you have meetings let different team members lead discussions every once in a while. All of these things reinforce that you value what they have to say. — Erik J. Olson is an award-winning digital marketer & entrepreneur.
