In this episode master teacher, Karen Atkinson shares with the listeners how she is able to deliver an inspired Waldorf curriculum despite the unprecedented circumstances. Even in quarantine she continues meeting the needs of her students today, while preparing them for the future. Karen is a long time Waldorf educator. She has taught in both early childhood and grade schools throughout the country. She has been a School Director, a representative to Waldorf Early Childhood Education of North America and has served on multiple School Boards. She is part of the summer faculty at Sunbridge Institute in NY where she teaches week-long courses to teachers. Additionally Karen has mentored and evaluated teachers and schools for over two decades and has served on accreditation teams for both Waldorf and Independent Schools . She has lectured and led workshops on Waldorf education both here in the US as well as at the Goetheanum in Dornach, Switzerland. Karen is a member of the Leadership Council AWSNA. She currently teaches a vibrant group of lovely first graders at the Waldorf School of Princeton.
