Rae Cole and Oscar Bugarin, of critically acclaimed Calling Cadence join the show. The band's self titled debut album (Out NOW) showcased a group’s innate ability to nod to the past while resolutely pushing forward. It's a classic-sounding record (recorded, mixed, and mastered straight to analog tape) for the contemporary world. Computers were only employed for streaming prep and CD replication. Produced by David Swartz and Matt Linesch, the album was released on the pairs hi-res records label. “Good Day,” along with the four other songs on the acoustic EP were recorded live in the studio to capture the initial magic of the album. The second single from the album, 'Good Day' continues to be a stand-out favorite, with support from NPR, Nashville’s WMOT, Los Angeles radio stations KCSN, KLOS, and recently found a new champion in CMT who put the “Good Day” official music video into rotation and currently have it featured on the CMT 12 pack Countdown Program. Join us as we chat with Rae and Oscar about recording in Analog Sound, Chemistry in a band, Ghosting, Motown, Sam Cooke and timeless influences among lots more. And stay tuned for an exclusive performance of 'Just The Way It Goes'. For more on Calling Cadence, visit: www.callingcadencetheband.com Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
