JUMP Music Initiative Podcast EP18 with Ben Nixon   Ben Nixon is a recording engineer, live event technician, video producer, production manager, educator, and musician. He is currently the head of audio at the Bella Concert Hall in Calgary, Alberta and has been running his own production company since 2009. Ben’s past experience includes recording, mixing, and producing a wide range of music and speech projects, mixing music festivals throughout western Canada, touring with a variety of musical acts, and working as a lighting designer for dance, theatre, and concert events. In addition to directly supporting creative projects, Ben has also been teaching technical skills for over a decade. JUMP Music Initiative is a not for profit that hosts music industry workshops and live original music showcases for young artists.
