1 Samuel 8 Have you ever wanted what someone else had or to be like someone else? Well you are not alone. The Israelites demand to have a king because everyone else has a king. They are caught in the comparison trap. God reminds us that He is our King and that He loves us just how we are. Comparison can destroy contentment: it will grow either pride or bitterness.
