The Knicks battled hard but it wasn't enough to extend the series to a game 7. The Miami Heat defeat the New York Knicks 96-92 and advance to the Eastern Conference. The game opened up looming bright for the Knicks who lead by as much as 16 in the first quarter but foul trouble for Brunson and RJ Barrett relegated them both to the bench in dire moments of the game. At some point the Knicks had surrendered a 10-0 run to the Heat all while Jalen Brunson was on the bench. The game was tight all the way through and the Knicks had a final possession that could've lead to a tie or the Knicks taking the lead but a costly turnover by Jalen Brunson would lead to the Heat icing the Knicks and putting our Eastern Conference Finals aspirations to rest.
