Samuel is an educator who believes that culturally responsive pedagogy is critical to addressing the issues of the opportunity and access gap. As someone who is social justice oriented, he sees education as one of the most powerful mechanisms in breaking the cycles of mass incarceration and poverty that malign people of color in the United States.
